Before colonization these tribes often fought over land, cattle and power. Explore how the Chaga tribes lived and created clever ways of protecting themselves.
It will take you 2 and half hours in private drive to Marangu gate of mountain Kilimanjaro. At the gate you will have time to move around for sight-seeing, taking photos and read different articles about Mount Kilimanjaro as Marangu route is the most popular hiking route in Moshi. After a while you will drive back to make your own cup of coffee as we know Marangu residents are farmers growing bananas, vegetables and coffee. However, the biggest source of income is tourism. After all fun coffee posses that you will make there then you will head to very interesting underground rout talking about Chief (Mangi Mwitori) Petro Itosi Marealle and Paramount Chief (Mangi Mkuu) which tell us about old life about chaga tribe. and lastly we end up in walking to the river of Ndoro waterfall.
